A Young Woman Engages In Excessive And Hazardous Drinking And Finds Outstanding Help At An Alcohol Rehab Clinic For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Symptoms Of Alcoholism
Beth was the mother of two children. Beth had been feeling quite nervous lately and started to "medicate" herself by having several screwdrivers every evening after she put her children to bed. After approximately ten weeks of this drinking routine, she at long last understood the fact that instead of helping her "lighten up" and "muddle through" her difficulties, drinking made her feel less rested when she awakened in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel more stressed all through the day.
After thinking deeply about her "condition" for several days, Beth decided to talk about her drinking problem with her closest friend. In fact, just about five minutes into their chat, Beth's best friend Jordyn, told her about a very competent and skillful psychiatrist at the local drug and alcohol abuse treatment center. After talking to her closest friend, Beth immediately got motivated to call the rehabilitation facility and schedule an appointment.
Ten days later she finally got to meet the doctor her best friend had talked about. After their short-and-to-the-point introduction, Beth explained to the psychiatrist that ever since her ex-husband and she divorced one another, she has been struggling financially, spiritually, and emotionally.
As Beth was talking to the doctor, she stressed the point that she really thought that she and Robert dated long enough to know one another good enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, however, their relationship appeared to fall apart. Not only this but both she and Robert started to drink, and their abusive and irresponsible drinking negatively affected their finances, their love for one another, and their relationship.
The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been going through are due to her careless drinking. The physician also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the usual symptoms of alcoholism and that the most effective solution for this is alcohol rehabilitation.
After spending six months in inpatient alcohol rehab, Beth was slowly but surely able to comprehend the fact that the real basis of her stress and her depression was the fact that she had not gotten to the bottom of her hostile feelings she has for her ex-husband who had divorced her. In short, Beth let these feelings upset her so much that she became an alcoholic.
Armed with these insights and with the drugs her psychiatrist prescribed, she eventually stopped drinking, she began to feel much less depressed, and she started scheduling time for social activities with her friends and family. Not only this but a few months after receiving rehab from her doctor, began to date once again.
It was clear that Beth had certainly come a long way. In fact, just around four months after she stopped her treatment, Beth had finally laid the negative emotions of Robert, her former husband, to rest and was beginning to feel more self esteem and more spiritually "sound" and psychologically "with it" than she had ever felt in her adult life.
